S&J re-roofed our 1960’s house during September. The service was excellent from start to finish. Everyone we dealt with at S&J was polite, courteous and helpful. We chose them because they were a long established local family business with a good track record offered a 25yr guarantee and they had done a good job on a neighbour house .
On our house they removed the existing tiles, battons very damaged felt liner. They installed a new breathable lining, new battons and we opted for new tiles.. we are very pleased with the outcome.
Thanks to Lee, Naomi, Tom, James, Kye, Scott, Cam and Jay…. You made it a painless experience

If it were possible to give a higher than 5* review, I would be more than happy to do so. Prior to instructing a company to do my roof renewals, I obtained five quotes. These quotes were from reputable Bath specialist roofing companies, all with a minimum of 4.6 plus reviews. S&J Roofing were the last company I met with, by this time I had already instructed another company. I was so impressed after meeting with the Director of S&J, Lee Shellard, that I cancelled the other company I’d already instructed (forgoing my deposit.) Before starting the work Lee encouraged me to come into the Walcot Street shop, so I could see all the materials that would be used on my roof and check I was happy before the work commenced.
Throughout the project I could not have been happier with how the work was carried out. The S&J team were, polite, tidy on site, worked extremely hard even in the summer heatwave. They were always happy to answer questions and kept in constant communication regarding the work that had been done and completion timings. They completed the work on time and left the site immaculately tidy. I’m so grateful that I decided to instruct S&J and would not hesitate to recommend them. They are absolute professionals and a brilliant example of a specialist family-run company, who really care about the work they do and how they conduct their business. My sincerest thanks, to all the S&J team.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

S&J Roofing Bath recently carried out work on my property and I couldn’t be happier with the result. The workmanship was exceptional, and the communication was excellent from the moment I first made an enquiry right through to the finished project.

Everything was handled professionally, the work was completed to a very high standard, and I was kept informed throughout the whole process.

Highly recommend!

S&J re-roofed our Grade I listed roof with real expertise and professionalism. The project could genuinely not have gone any better. The attention to detail of tricky construction interfaces showed real care and the weekly progress updates kept us informed along the whole process. Thanks to Lee and the whole S&J team to a tricky job very well done.

A superb service! Lee and his team went above and beyond to sort out our roof and chimney. Really straightforward to deal with. I would highly recommend S & J Roofing.

What an amazing experience dealing with Lee and his team at S&J Roofing in Bath.
Not only were they responsive from the first contact but kept me in the loop on every aspect of the tricky historical roof.
Which they repaired, with like for like materials and even went above and beyond by going to a reclamation yard to get historical coping stones that had been broken by the previous roofers.
My new neighbours have all commented on how professional his team were and have all told me they filed away S&J’s contact details,
As they wouldn’t think of using any other roofing company in Bath.
Their work is simply superb And I wouldn’t hesitate to highly recommend them to anybody.
Thank you, Lee and the team. ❤️

Great workmanship from this company with before and after videos provided. Constant communication throughout the process so we knew exactly what was happening. Did a great job from start to finish and would use them again without hesitation. In fact I wouldn’t use anyone else for roofing work!
