Undertaking works at a property of this stature required meticulous planning and coordination. A key early milestone involved obtaining the necessary permissions to install a full 360-degree scaffold around the building.

Our team successfully secured all approvals and completed the scaffolding installation within one week, ensuring minimal delay and a smooth transition into the main phase of works.

Heritage-Led Material Selection

Preserving the integrity and character of this historic building was central to every decision made. We carefully sourced and installed materials that were both authentic and built to last:

• Premium natural slate was used to maintain the traditional roof finish synonymous with the Royal Crescent.
• Conservation-grade windows were incorporated to align with listed building standards while enhancing durability.
• Hand-formed traditional lead mopsticks were installed, reflecting period-correct detailing and craftsmanship.
• Reclaimed Bath stone coping stones, sourced from Walcot Reclamation, ensured a seamless visual match with the original masonry.
