The Bathwick district was originally introduced in the 18th century, it has a wide variety of traditional Georgian houses.
S&J had the pleasure to carry out works on one of these captivating properties, we were given the directive to conduct a detailed examination for the works required. On inspection S&J established that the rear half hexagon bay detail was beyond repair, therefore our company owner diagnosed a full welsh slate replacement using Roofshield breathable felt, tanalised battens and stunning welsh natural slate. These natural slates are recognised as a quality roofing slate which will provide you with a roof that will last a lifetime. As you can see from the images provided above, it was a very successful project with all parties delighted with the outcome.
To allow a safe and supportive environment for our S&J team, we instructed our scaffolding team, Design, to supply and construct a full scaffold to allow us to carry out our works safely. Prior to any work commencing the team took into consideration the level of disruption to the Bathwick area. To prevent any unnecessary disruption, all work that could be conducted from our Walcot Street office was carried out by our specialist team.
